Thus, hunters are advised to adhere to rules and regulations that may vary depending on WMA management overseeing a particular hunting area. Fees charged for residents differ from visitors and everyone is expected to be responsible for the upkeep of the hunting grounds, otherwise they will be barred during the next hunting season. One unique feature of the Oklahoma hunting land is that some areas are leased during the hunting season. This means that the renting individual is given an exclusive right to hunt within a designated area, apart from the freedom of hunting without any time constraints. Just for how long? It will depend on his preference, even annually if he wants to. |
